Hi Everyone. 50 on 50th (50 artists, on 50th) is THIS SATURDAY, from 10:00 to 5:00, at Burroughs School in S. Mpls. All the cool people will be there-- should you?

As you can see, I've been making art like crazy! My booth will look a bit different this time. I have a lot of wall pieces, and some larger basins etc for the garden, and a few large abstracts. I'm excited about the variety.

These sketches, led to...

These basins:

This one is quite tall. A good architectural element for a garden?

I have a whole new slew of pendants in sizes and colors you can mix and match.

And a lot of smaller wall pieces.

Many of you are curious about the welding process, so I made this little video of me working in my shop. The music is from the movie Sarafina. I hope you enjoy it. Feel free to share this with anyone you think might be interested in the show, or my work. Thanks! (It doesn't totally fit in its box here, but if you click on the picture while it's playing, it will take you to you tube where you can expand it to full screen if you want, or at least see the entire frame.)

Fantastic vid and what a performance! Fun to see how you sling the welding wand over your shoulder and flip the lid!

Man...very cool...and very FAST!
Has anybody eve told you that you are probably one of the best looking welders...sorry, had to go there.
Anyway, this really show how hard you actually work to make your stuff. (I had to watch with the sound off...what did I miss?)

Tink, Beth, & Linda -
Thanks guys! Glad you liked. :)

Kyia-
Yeah, I'm basically in my element w/ my tools, like you w/ the bike/skis I'm sure.

Lynn-
Fast-- haha! Yeah, Dan said I made cutting the tree out look too easy. It was sped up to 1000x. The other footage is sped to 800x normal speed. It's actually very labor intensive and lots of it is quite tedious, but I love it!
