Hi everyone. Thanks so much to everyone who came to the show last Saturday. It was so fun to meet some of you who introduced yourselves too and have faces now, to go with your names-- (Kim, Peter, Liz, Marcelline, Sally, Sandy--- I'm know I'm forgetting someone... or sometwo...) The day was a whirlwind, but fun.

These pics are of a few things I have left. They can now be found at Seasons On St. Croix Gallery in Hudson WI. (link on the right of my blog-- email subscribers- click blog title to get there)

I still have the garden gates and Polynesian dancer at my place if anyone is interested in those.

And I have a lot of things sort of "in process" and ideas I'm anxious to get started on.

I'll be out of town for a couple of weeks, but after that feel free to contact me with any questions etc. You can of course do that now, but if I don't answer you for a couple weeks that's why. :)

I'll post again once i have new work to show you. Also look for updates concerning a studio show I'm putting together with a bunch of other cool artists at my place in August. Enjoy spring!

Hi Everyone. 50 on 50th (50 artists, on 50th) is THIS SATURDAY, from 10:00 to 5:00, at Burroughs School in S. Mpls. All the cool people will be there-- should you?

As you can see, I've been making art like crazy! My booth will look a bit different this time. I have a lot of wall pieces, and some larger basins etc for the garden, and a few large abstracts. I'm excited about the variety.

These sketches, led to...

These basins:

This one is quite tall. A good architectural element for a garden?

I have a whole new slew of pendants in sizes and colors you can mix and match.

And a lot of smaller wall pieces.

Many of you are curious about the welding process, so I made this little video of me working in my shop. The music is from the movie Sarafina. I hope you enjoy it. Feel free to share this with anyone you think might be interested in the show, or my work. Thanks! (It doesn't totally fit in its box here, but if you click on the picture while it's playing, it will take you to you tube where you can expand it to full screen if you want, or at least see the entire frame.)

Hi Everyone. Just a reminder- the 50 on 50th art show is next Sat., April 10th, from 10:00 to 5:00. It's in S. Minneapolis, at Burroughs School (50th & Minnehaha Pkwy.) Come say hi!

Preparations are coming along. This is going to be a branch you can attach to a wall, indoors or out. It's inspired by a good artist-friend. Her home is so lively and imaginative, and she loves birds!

I'm still having lots of fun with abstracts, digging into my treasure trove of collected goodies. Believe it or not, pieces like this wonderfully aged orange scrap are really hard for me to part with. There never has, or will be anything exactly like it. It's one of a kind. Gorgeous!

I'm getting excited for the show and seeing old friends and meeting lots of new people. I always love when people stop by and say...

Next week I hope to have a real surprise for you, so be sure to check back. If you know anyone who likes art and might be interested in the show or my work, do me a favor and forward /link this to them. Thanks!
